Luke and James Turnbull presented on Puppet at OSCON 2008 in Portland.

Luke has presented on Puppet at both linux.conf.au 2007 and 2008 in Australia. The most recent presentation was in Melbourne, Australia at linux.conf.au 2008. His presentation at linux.conf.au 2007 in Sydney, Australia is also available.

Luke also gave two talks at BayLISA about Puppet. The first is a twenty minute introduction from 2005 (Puppet's first year) about the Why and What of puppet. The second and third are part one and two of a two hour presentation half a year later, again at BayLISA.

Martha Greenberg wrote a set of slides on Puppet Basic Concepts to explain Puppet to her co-workers. Feel free to use them to explain it to yours.
