Puppet: System Administration Automated

Support

Documentation Standards

While contributions to the documentation for the puppet project are encouraged and appreciated, please
  1. Please make sure the documentation you are creating doesn't already exist.
  2. Please try your best to use your best spelling, punctuation, mechanics, and grammar skills.
  3. Please tag every document you add to the Wiki. If you aren't sure what tags to use, please refer to the List of Current Tags and include all that apply. This small amount of effort on your part will make a big difference in the quality of our documentation. For areas in a file that need fixing, please add the word FIXME and a comment somewhere near the part that needs to be fixed and add the tag FIXME to the page.
  4. Every piece of documentation added to the Wiki should have an entry in the Documentation Start Page and Table of Contents. If you add documentation, please update these documents.
  5. Documents formatted in Restructured Text are preferred to the default Wiki Formatting used by Trac, but we appreciate documentation in any format.
